CBSE adopts National Curriculum Framework for Foundation Stage from academic session 2023-24
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has adopted the National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage 202. Developed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training, the new structure of five-year education at foundational stage, from nursery to Class 2, will be introduced in the 2023-24 academic session in those CBSE schools which offer education at foundational stage to students in the age group of 3 to 8 years.
CBSE schools offering foundational or preparatory education are advised to abide by the recommendations regarding pedagogy, curriculum, assessment and other areas mentioned in (NCFFS-2022).
