Adding another feather to its list of achievements, Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram, earns Grade ‘A’ accreditation by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). ASU had submitted a self-study report for the assessment period from 2017-18 to 2021-22. The NAAC peer team visited ASU campus last month to evaluate the qualitative metrics. In addition to receiving Grade ‘A’, the University scored a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.18 out of 4.00, on a seven-point scale.

The NAAC grading is done based on the seven-point criterion including curricular aspects,
teaching-learning and evaluation, research, innovations and extension, infrastructure and learning resources, student support and progression, governance, leadership and management, and institutional, values and best practices.

Echoing the key aspects of the National Education Policy 2020, ASU represents a unique vision to train its students and faculty. This encompasses the four interdisciplinary pillars including Liberal Arts, Innovation, Technology and Research. From time to time, the University takes up a number of initiatives like industry-centric approach to education that provides students with an array of skills as well as an industry-enabled hands-on experience.

Additionally, ASU’s vision and commitment to community service is outstanding, as it not only helps in creating holistic individuals with sound values, but also helps to make a positive difference in the society, especially amidst the underprivileged classes. ASU has made a unique credit-system comprising 40 hours of work related to community service mandatory for every student graduating from the University.

We are delighted to receive the ‘A’ Grade accreditation from NAAC, which is a testament to our unwavering commitment to provide quality education. This recognition is the result of our dedicated faculty, innovative teaching methods and a strong focus on research and community engagement. We will continue to strive for excellence and provide our students with the best possible educational experience.”
