The four-night-and-five-day trip was organised by Valedra International. Highlighting the significance of educational excursions, Sanjoy Roy, Chief Operating Officer, Valedra, said, “The successful completion of the school’s educational trip to vibrant Singapore marks a significant milestone in our students’ academic journey. Through experiential learning, cultural immersion, and personal growth opportunities, the students not only gained a deeper understanding of various subjects but also fostered a global perspective and a thirst for knowledge.
“As an institute, Valedra takes immense pride in the profound impact this trip has had on the students. As students navigate new horizons and engage with people from different backgrounds, they will develop valuable life skills that will serve them well beyond their academic years. We are confident that the memories, lessons, and friendships forged during this educational trip will have a lasting positive influence on the students’ lives.”
“Going to Singapore was a wonderful experience and I got to learn new things. I also made a lot of new friends,” said Kashish Pankaj Ghag, class VII, Apeejay School, Kharghar.
The itinerary was carefully planned to take students to not only the top tourist spots but also provide them with the opportunity to learn about Singapore’s culture, traditions as well as sustainable practices. On one hand, the students had a fun experience at places like Universal Studios and Sentosa Island. On the other hand, they were also introduced to the city’s transport system at the SG Mobility Centre, and the water management system at NEWater plant. The students also had an enriching experience at the Science Museum where they explored various scientific marvels through detailed experiments.
Added Paridhi, a class IX student at Apeejay School, Noida, “I am grateful to my parents for sending me to Singapore. The trip was exciting and full of learning. We visited places like ChinaTown, Little India, Mobility Gallery, Art Science museum, Universal Studios, and more. We also went on a night safari and it was great fun. I am thankful to our tour manager and teacher for guiding and taking care of us during the entire trip.”
Divyanshi, a student of Apeejay School, Pitampura, called it “a once-in-a-lifetime experience”. “Seeing the beautiful places, learning about the lifestyle, meeting new people, and learning how to manage yourself was an enriching experience. Not just students, even the parents were thrilled about the exciting opportunity provided to their children. Divya Aggarwal, mother of Akshita Aggarwal, class IX, Apeejay School Pitampura, added, “The trip was awesome! The tour manager, Kushagra sir was a total gem, super nice and jolly, making the whole experience a blast. And kudos to Smita Sharma ma’am, she was incredibly supportive throughout.
