‘Apeejay Model Town ensures that students have a deep understanding of subjects’
Mrs. Tanisha Bansal, mother of Apeejay Model Town student, Pragun Bansal, appreciates the school teachers for giving priority to explain a concept clearly and concisely
Mrs. Tanisha Bansal is a homemaker. Her husband, Mr. Sumit Bansal is a businessman. They are proud parents of Pragun Bansal, class 4 student at Apeejay Model Town. In an interview, Mrs. Bansal mentions what’s unique about the school and more. Edited excerpts:
Please tell us about your reasons behind choosing Apeejay Model Town for Pragun’s admission?
This is the best school, that is what I concluded after my extensive survey of schools in my locality. Pragun has studied at Apeejay Tanda Road branch during his primary and pre-primary years. So, we are familiar with the Apeejay brand. Also, we recently shifted our place, so we got Pragun enrolled here. The school is in proximity to our place as well.
How is Pragun doing at the school? Please update us about his progress?
Pragun really enjoys studying Math and English. Among the activities at school, what he cherishes the most are games like badminton, football and cricket. He is an extremely active child. He is performing very well at school.
Are the teachers engaging well with the students?
The teachers are simply too good. I would like to thank Meeta Oberoi ma’am, the English teacher, Joginder ma’am, the Hindi teacher and Jyoti ma’am, the Math teacher. I would also like to thank his former class teacher Sukhwinder ma’am. She was just too good as a teacher. I have not seen a teacher like her yet. She taught him Environmental Science.
As a parent, what have you found to be the best thing about Apeejay Model Town?
The students are very well taken care of at the school. The students are never made to cram any concept. Their basic understanding is always given the first priority. Let me explain this with an example: Pragun recently had his Math exam. A certain question asked in the exam was a bit tough and different compared to the general textbook questions. But my son was very happy that he was able to answer that question as well as the other questions asked. It was so since the teachers had always ensured that the students understand the basic concepts well. They have a deep understanding of all the subjects.
How has the experience of the online classes been for Pragun? Did he enjoy them?
It was a very good experience for him. He was able to participate and answer well in the class. All the classes were held timely as well.
Now that the school has reopened, is Pragun happy to be back at the school?
He is very happy to be back at school (laughs). It was very tough for little children to stay at home for such a long time. So now, he enjoys it so much that now he is able to go to school and meet his friends everyday.
