The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to announce the Class 10 second board examination result 2026 in the fourth week of June, bringing relief to lakhs of students waiting for their scores.

This year marks the first time CBSE conducted two board examinations for Class 10 students. The second board exam was held from May 15 to May 21, 2026. According to reports, around 6.8 lakh students appeared for this exam, which offered candidates another chance to improve their performance.

The result is likely to be released between June 21 and June 27, though CBSE has not yet confirmed an official date. Once announced, students will be able to check their scores on cbse.gov.in. Results are also expected to be available on the CBSE’s official website.

To view the result, students will need to visit the official website, open the Class 10 second board result link, and enter the required details. These may include roll number, school number, admit card ID and date of birth. After submission, the result will appear on the screen. Students should download the mark sheet and keep a copy for future use.

CBSE has stated that the online mark sheet will be provisional. Students will have to collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools later. Apart from official websites, the result may also be accessed through SMS, IVRS, DigiLocker and the UMANG app.

The first phase Class 10 result was declared earlier this year. CBSE had reported an overall pass percentage of 93.70 per cent in that examination. The board did not release a toppers list, continuing its practice of discouraging unhealthy competition among students.
