Drishti Chandhok of Apeejay Stya University, Gurugram shares about her placement experience

For Drishti Chandhok, learning at Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram has been a journey of growth, confidence, and professional discovery. After completing her B.Pharmacy and currently pursuing M.Pharmacy at ASU, she has successfully stepped into the professional world as a Research Associate at Unimrkt Healthcare, a global market research organisation. In this interaction, Drishti reflects on her enriching academic journey, placement experience, faculty support, and career aspirations in healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Read edited excerpts: 

Where are you working and what position?

Currently, I am working at Unimrkt Healthcare as Research associate, it’s a global market research organisation. 

How was your placement experience with Apeejay? How did you prepare for placement?

My placement experience with Apeejay Stya University was very positive. I prepared by improving my communication skills, strengthening subject knowledge, and attending mock interviews and training sessions conducted by the university.

How did faculty at Apeejay help you prepare for your professional journey?

The faculty at Apeejay Stya University were very supportive and motivating. They guided me academically, encouraged practical learning, and helped me build confidence for the professional world.

What skills have you learned at Apeejay?

At Apeejay Stya University, I learned important skills such as communication, teamwork, research, presentation, problem-solving,  professional ethics &  personality development. 

What are your future aspirations ?
My future aspiration is to continue growing in the healthcare and pharmaceutical field, enhance my professional skills, and contribute meaningfully to patient awareness and healthcare innovation.
