Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar, held a heartfelt and solemn event to mark the 13th death anniversary of Late Smt. Rajeshwari Paul, wife of Dr Stya Paul, the ‘first lady’ of Apeejay Stya & Svran Group and mother of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education. The event was filled with prayer, reflection, and reverence, as students and staff gathered to honour her inspiring life, gentle spirit, and lasting legacy.
A ceremony of light and love
The memorial event began on a spiritual note with the lighting of diyas and the offering of floral tributes before the portrait of Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji. This symbolic gesture of remembrance set the tone for a serene and dignified gathering. The Vice-Principal, faculty members, and students joined together in paying homage, expressing their respect for a woman whose life was marked by compassion, humility, and quiet strength.

To honour the loving and nurturing presence of Smt. Paul Ji, the school choir presented a series of soulful bhajans. Their melodious performance filled the air with devotion and peace, creating a spiritual atmosphere that resonated deeply with the audience. Through music, students expressed their heartfelt admiration for a woman who was cherished not just within her family but also by the larger Apeejay community.

Principal Ms. Sangeeta Nistandra addressed the gathering and read a special message from Dr. Garg, Senior Education Advisor, Apeejay Education. She shed light on Smt. Paul Ji was known for promoting the arts as a means of nurturing young minds and building character.
