Choosing the right higher education pathway after school is often one of the first major decisions students make. To help learners understand the options before them, Apeejay School, Pitampura, in collaboration with Pratham Test Prep, organised an informative Gateway to IIMs, NLUs & CUET session for students of Classes XI and XII.

The session focused on some of the country’s most sought-after academic routes. Students were introduced to the integrated programmes offered by the Indian Institutes of Management, career opportunities through National Law Universities, and the growing role of the Common University Entrance Test in undergraduate admissions.

What made the session relevant was its focus on clarity. At this stage, many students are aware of competitive examinations, but they may not always understand how these pathways connect with long-term career goals. The session helped them look at these choices with more structure.

Students were also guided on preparation strategies. The discussion touched upon the need to begin early, understand exam patterns, manage time well, and build consistency. For students in Classes XI and XII, such guidance can make the process less overwhelming and more purposeful.

A key part of the session was the active participation of students. They asked thoughtful questions, showing that they were listening and trying to place the information in the context of their own aspirations.

The initiative reflected the school’s effort to support informed decision-making among senior students. Career planning is not only about selecting an entrance test. It is also about understanding one’s interests, strengths, and the kind of academic environment one wishes to enter.

By bringing such guidance into the school space, Apeejay School, Pitampura, encouraged students to think ahead with greater awareness. The session served as a useful step in helping them explore meaningful opportunities and prepare for the future with confidence.
