It was a proud moment for Apeejay School, Model Town, Jalandhar, as student Tejas Riyat was specially applauded by Colonel NS Cheema, Commanding Officer, 2 Punjab Battalion NCC, for his exceptional performance in the Indo-Nepal International Dance Championship.

The recognition holds significance not only because it celebrates artistic talent, but also because it reflects the discipline, confidence, and commitment that students develop through consistent effort. For a young performer, participation at an international platform demands preparation, focus, and the ability to represent one’s institution with dignity.

Recognition beyond the stage

Tejas’s achievement stands as a reminder that school education is not limited to classrooms alone. When students are encouraged to explore areas such as dance, sports, leadership, and NCC activities, they begin to understand their strengths more deeply.

His performance in the championship has brought appreciation to the school and added another proud chapter to its culture of nurturing overall growth. Such moments also motivate other students to take their interests seriously and work towards them with patience and sincerity.

Guidance that shapes confidence

The school also extended heartfelt appreciation to CTO Ms Maninder Kaur for her constant guidance, encouragement, and support. Her role in mentoring NCC cadets has been important in helping students remain focused, disciplined, and open to new milestones.

Behind every student achievement, there is usually steady support that may not always be visible from the outside. In Tejas’s case, the recognition also reflects the environment created by teachers and mentors who continue to guide students beyond routine academics.

Tejas Riyat’s achievement is a proud occasion for Apeejay School, Model Town, the NCC, and the larger school family. It reflects what dedication can lead to when talent is supported with the right guidance.
