Professional learning remained at the centre of a staff meeting held at Apeejay School, Pitampura. The educators came together to reflect, share, and look ahead. Chaired by the school Principal, the meeting focused on the larger idea that meaningful classroom change begins with teachers who continue to learn themselves.
A key part of the meeting was Ms Pooja Chaddha’s reflection on the ‘Student Exchange Program to Germany’. Her sharing brought in global perspectives and helped the faculty look at education beyond familiar classroom boundaries. The experience offered meaningful takeaways on how exposure to different learning cultures can shape both teachers and students.
For the school, such exchanges matter because they widen the way educators think about teaching, student engagement, and cultural understanding. They also remind teachers that learning is not limited to textbooks or lesson plans. It grows through observation, interaction, and openness to new ideas.

Rethinking classroom practice
The session also included a Faculty Development Forum Workshop conducted by Ms Harsimran, Ms Radhika, and Ms Geeta on ‘Reimagining Classroom Teaching through Innovative Pedagogical Practices’. The workshop encouraged teachers to think about how classrooms can become more active, responsive, and learner-focused.
The discussion placed emphasis on teaching methods that make students participate more deeply. It also underlined the need to create classrooms that are engaging and future-ready, while keeping the learner’s needs at the centre.

The meeting reflected the school’s commitment to professional excellence and collective growth. By bringing together global exposure and classroom innovation, it created space for teachers to learn from one another and rethink their practice.
What this really means is simple: when educators feel empowered, they are better prepared to shape learners who are confident, curious, and ready for the future.
