The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that it has declared the results of more than 99.7% of applications submitted for verification of issues observed and re-evaluation of the Class 12 Board exam this year. The Board is currently processing the remaining cases, which it expects to release shortly.
According to an official statement issued by the Board on Sunday, revised results have been published in batches since June 21. The announcement comes as a major relief to thousands of students who have been anxiously awaiting their updated scores, especially those seeking admission to undergraduate programmes.
Earlier, concerns had been raised about delays in the re-evaluation process, with many students worried that pending results could affect their college admissions after the declaration of the CUET UG 2026 results. However, CBSE clarified that this year, the post-result review process has progressed more efficiently than it did in 2025.
CBSE attributed the faster turnaround to its revised post-result mechanism, which allowed students to first access scanned copies of their evaluated answer books before applying for verification of specific issues or re-evaluation of individual answers.
To ensure transparency and security, the entire process was conducted under the supervision of technical experts from IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, and the Digital India Corporation.
Students whose marks remained unchanged after the review have also been allowed to inspect their answer books at their respective CBSE regional offices. Detailed schedules for inspection will be communicated separately.
CBSE has advised students and parents to rely solely on official announcements and avoid misinformation circulating on social media.
The remaining re-evaluation results are expected to be declared in the coming days.
