The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the Re-NEET UG 2026 final answer key and candidates’ OMR response sheets shortly after the closure of the objection window on June 28. While no official release date has been announced, the documents are likely to be published in the coming days, paving the way for the declaration of results.
The provisional answer key was issued on June 25, allowing candidates to review the answers and raise objections until June 28 through the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. NTA has clarified that no challenges submitted after the deadline will be accepted.
All objections received within the stipulated period are now being examined by subject experts in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. If any challenge is valid, the NTA will incorporate the necessary revisions into the final answer key. The revised key will be treated as the definitive basis for evaluating answer sheets and preparing the re-NEET UG 2026 results.
Meanwhile, NTA has confirmed that the OMR response sheets are being processed and will be uploaded soon. Once available, candidates can access their personalised OMR sheets by logging in with their application number and password.
While the agency has not announced the re-NEET UG 2026 result date, it is expected to follow soon after the release of the final answer key. The exam follows the standard NEET marking scheme, awarding four marks for every correct answer, deducting one mark for every incorrect response and assigning no marks for unanswered questions. The test comprises 180 questions carrying a maximum of 720 marks.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official NTA website for the latest updates on the answer key, OMR sheets and result declaration.
