The Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM) held at Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad, became a meaningful reflection of how classroom learning can move beyond textbooks and routine assessments. Across different grades, students presented activities that highlighted research, creativity, communication skills and conceptual understanding. The event created space for parents to witness how learning is being shaped through participation and experience.
The Primary Wing drew special attention as students of Classes IV and V presented their experiential learning project on Northern Mountains for the months of April and May. The classrooms turned into lively cultural spaces where students stepped into the role of travel experts and introduced parents to the landscapes, traditions and lifestyle of Northern India.

From snow-covered mountains and scenic valleys to regional cuisine, traditional attire and local festivals, the presentations covered multiple aspects of the region’s cultural identity. Students confidently interacted with parents while suggesting travel routes, sharing interesting facts and explaining the importance of preserving regional heritage. Their confidence reflected careful observation, teamwork and curiosity developed through classroom engagement.
The senior classes also presented subject-based activities designed to strengthen conceptual understanding through practical learning. Class VI explored global standard time through an activity titled Time Keepers of Earth. Class VII presented kavita vachan, bringing language and expression together through poetry recitation. Class VIII demonstrated the verification of the Pythagorean Theorem using paper cut-outs, while Class IX explained the Plate Tectonic Theory with clarity and confidence.

The meeting became more than an academic interaction between teachers and parents. It offered a closer look at how experiential learning encourages students to think independently, communicate clearly and participate actively in the learning process. What stood out throughout the event was the students’ ability to connect knowledge with presentation, discussion and real-world understanding.
