My Favourite Season

1 minute agoon

Winter is my favourite season of the year. There are many reasons why I love this time of the year so much.
One of the things I enjoy the most about winter is the pleasant weather. The days are cooler, and the nights are chilly. This makes it perfect for spending time outdoors without feeling too hot or sweaty. I love going for walks in the park or playing cricket with my friends during winter.

Another great thing about winter is the delicious food that comes with it. My mom makes some of my favourite dishes during this season, like hot soup and carrot pudding. These warm and comforting foods are perfect for the cool winter days.
During winter, many exciting festivals and celebrations take place. Diwali, the festival of lights, is celebrated with great enthusiasm. We decorate our homes with colorful lights, burst crackers, and gorge on delicious sweets. Christmas is another joyous occasion that brings families together for parties and gift-giving.
Winter is also a time when many birds migrate to our area from colder regions. It’s always a delight to spot different species of birds in the trees and parks. Their chirping and singing add to the cheerful atmosphere of the season.
The cozy evenings spent with family, the delightful treats, and the festive celebrations make this season truly magical. Getting to wear warm clothes like sweaters and jackets is another joy of winter.
In conclusion, winter is my favourite season because of the pleasant weather, delicious food, exciting festivals, the arrival of migratory birds, and getting to wear warm, cozy clothes. This season fills me with immense happiness and cheer.
