Apeejay School, Faridabad, holds its Annual Investiture Ceremony
Recently, Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad, held its Annual Investiture Ceremony with great splendour, celebrating the spirit of leadership, responsibility, and school pride. The event marked the formal induction of the newly elected student council, who will now shoulder a wide spectrum of responsibilities to guide the student body. The gracious presence of parents added warmth and significance to the occasion, making it a memorable day for the entire school community.
The ceremony opened with a heartfelt welcome address by the Principal, Mrs Snehlata Krishnan, who shared an inspiring message on the true essence of leadership. She highlighted that real leadership stems from humility, responsibility, and the ability to influence others positively. Urging students to lead with integrity and purpose, she reminded them that their positions are an opportunity to serve and uplift the school.
Parents were accorded a special floral welcome, recognising their constant support. The traditional lighting of the lamp followed, infusing the event with an aura of purity and optimism. A soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana further elevated the atmosphere, invoking blessings for wisdom and guidance.
The most awaited segment of the event, the formal investiture of the student council, unfolded with dignity and grandeur. Each newly appointed leader stepped forward to receive their sash and badge from the Principal and Academic Coordinator, Ms Deepa Sharma. These symbols of trust and honour affirmed their commitment to their roles. The ceremony saw the conferring of key positions such as Head Boy, Head Girl, School Captain, House Captains, Sports Captain, Discipline Head, and Cultural Coordinators.
With their badges proudly pinned, the council members took the solemn Oath of Office, pledging to uphold the school’s values, lead by example, and fulfil their duties with sincerity and dedication. Adding depth to the event was a reflective address by the outgoing Head Girl, whose words encapsulated her meaningful journey of service and growth.
The Annual Investiture Ceremony stood as a powerful reminder of Apeejay School’s unwavering commitment to nurturing confident, responsible, and compassionate leaders. It was a day that celebrated not just titles, but the promise of purposeful leadership and collective progress.
