If I could fly like a bird

If I could fly like a bird, life would be like a dream! No more sitting in traffic, crammed in a bus, or waiting endlessly for a taxi. Instead, I would simply stretch out my arms, give a little flap, and shoot into the sky like a superhero taking off. Every morning, I’d start my day by soaring above my neighbourhood, watching the sunrise, feeling the cool morning breeze rush past me. The world below would look so small and peaceful, and for the first time, I’d truly understand what freedom feels like, no roads, no schedules, just the open sky and endless possibilities.

First, I would visit all the places I’ve ever dreamed of seeing. I’d glide over towering mountains, weaving between snowy peaks. I’d dive toward crystal clear lakes, skimming the water’s surface before soaring back up into the clouds. Over the ocean, I’d race alongside seagulls, watching dolphins leap from the waves and marvelling at the vast, sparkling blue stretching to the horizon.

But flying wouldn’t just be for adventure, it would make everyday life easier too. If I needed groceries, I’d zip to the store in minutes. If my best friend called for help, I’d be at their doorstep before they hung up. I could rescue cats stuck in trees, deliver forgotten lunches to classmates, or even help lost tourists find their way!

The best part? Flying would be my escape whenever life felt tough. A bad grade, a stressful day, or just needing a break, I’d take off, leaving my worries far below. Up in the sky, I’d do loops and spins, feeling weightless and carefree. I’d chase sunsets across countries, sleep on fluffy clouds, and stargaze from above the city lights.

If I could fly, I’d never stop exploring. I’d visit ancient castles, tropical islands, and bustling cities all in a single day. I’d taste the wind, dance with the birds, and feel the thrill of diving through rainbows after a storm. Most of all, I’d never take freedom for granted, because with wings, every day would be an adventure. The sky wouldn’t just be above me, it would be my home.
