The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the CTET Admit Card 2024 today (December 12, 2024). Candidates appearing for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) can download their hall tickets from the official website, ctet.nic.in. CBSE earlier announced that admit cards would be issued two days before the examination. However, the exact release time remains undisclosed.
The CTET December 2024 exam will be conducted on December 14, 2024, and if required, an additional session may be held on December 15, 2024, in certain cities. The test comprises two papers conducted in two shifts: Paper II will take place in the morning from 9:30 am to 12 pm, while Paper I is scheduled for the afternoon from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. Candidates aspiring to teach both primary (classes I-V) and upper primary (classes VI-VIII) levels must appear for both papers.
The CTET question paper will be bilingual (Hindi and English) and consist entirely of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) with no negative marking. Each correct answer will carry one mark.
CBSE has clarified that exam centres cannot be changed once they are allotted. In cases where the number of candidates in a particular city is insufficient, CBSE may allocate centres in alternative cities chosen by the candidate during registration.
The CTET qualifying certificate will now have lifetime validity, enabling candidates to apply for teaching positions indefinitely. Those who have already qualified can retake the exam to improve their scores.
