Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park recently hosted its vibrant annual event, ‘INDRADHANUSH’— a No Bag Day dedicated to celebrating students’ talents and skills. This event aligned with the National Education Policy 2020’s vision of holistic and skill-based education provided a dynamic platform for students to showcase their creativity and abilities.

The aim of INDRADHANUSH was to create an engaging learning environment that fosters creativity and enhances skills beyond the regular curriculum. The event featured a variety of competitions and activities designed for students from grades IX to XII. With an emphasis on skill development and personal growth, INDRADHANUSH provided a unique opportunity for students to explore their interests in a lively and supportive setting.

The day began with an energising Zumba performance, setting a spirited tone for the rest of the event. Following this, workshops on first aid and carpentry were conducted, offering students hands-on learning experiences. These workshops aimed to equip students with practical skills that are both valuable and enjoyable.

The excitement continued with a series of competitions, including solo dance, sur sangeet, saaz ki awaaz, pitch the venture, quiz master, graffiti, caricature making, poetry recitation, and fireless cooking. Each competition was designed to ignite students’ creativity and allow them to demonstrate their talents in various fields. The wide range of activities ensured that there was something for every student to engage with and enjoy.

True to its name, which means ‘rainbow’ in Hindi, INDRADHANUSH showcased the diverse abilities of the students, celebrating their unique strengths and contributions. The event was a testament to the vibrant and inclusive culture of Apeejay School, highlighting the school’s commitment to nurturing each student’s potential.

The festivities concluded with an award ceremony where School Vice Principal, Ms. Vandana Bansal, presented certificates of appreciation to the winners. Her recognition underscored the importance of acknowledging students’ efforts and achievements.

INDRADHANUSH was more than just a day of fun; it was an opportunity for students to learn new skills, celebrate their peers, and embrace their passions. The event’s success in creating an unforgettable and exhilarating experience reflects the school’s dedication to holistic education and student development.
