Five years ago, when we all were engaged in celebrating love on Valentine’s Day, a crucial pause came in our lives – THE PULWAMA ATTACK.

This was in 2019. A convoy of 78 vehicles carrying more then
2,500 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel was going
through Jammu-Srinagar National Highway which were
attacked at Lethpora near Awantipora by a suicide bomber,
driving a car filled with 300Kg of explosives and 80Kg of RDX.
The blast was so intensive that it caused death of 40 Central
Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel and injured many
others.

Later on, Jaish-e-Mohammed a Pakistan based militant group claim the responsibility for the attack. And identified Adil Ahmad Dar as a suicide bomber, who was local Kashmiri boy of just 22 years old. After investigations Indian Forces identified 19 accused, out of which, 7 were killed and 7 have been arrested.

So, while celebrating and spreading love on the Valentine’s Day, let’s also make a new trend
of giving roses to our brave soldiers along with our love ones.
Jai Hind!
