At Apeejay School, Pitampura, kindergarten students spoke up for animals through a slogan presentation, while Classes I and II enjoyed an outing to the cinema. The two activities gave the children experiences beyond their usual classroom lessons.
A message for the animal world
As part of a thematic learning activity titled Slogan Presentation, the kindergarten students became Animal Saviours for the day. Wearing colourful animal headgear, sashes, and badges, they moved around the school campus and shared messages about protecting animals and caring for nature.

Their slogans included Save Animals, Protect Wildlife, and Care for Nature. They also urged others to love animals and avoid harming them. Their simple words carried the message, with colourful headgear adding to the presentation.
The activity gave the young students a way to express concern for the animal world in their own words. Rather than leave the theme within the classroom, they took it around the campus, sharing a message of kindness and care. Through the slogans, the children connected the idea of protecting wildlife with a simple request: treat animals gently.

A film outing with friends
For students of Classes I and II, the change of scene took them to PVR. They watched Toy Story 5 on the big screen during a movie excursion with their classmates. The outing gave them time to enjoy a much-loved film together and share the excitement of seeing it at the cinema.
Laughter and cheerful moments with friends were as much a part of the day as the film itself. It was a chance to spend time together outside the classroom and return with a shared memory. The time spent with classmates made the outing one for the children to cherish.
Together, the activities gave the younger students room to participate, enjoy one another’s company, and share experiences beyond their regular lessons.
