In an endeavour to promote experiential learning and strengthen industry-academia collaboration, Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, organised an industrial visit to Grazitti Interactive in Panchkula, for students pursuing BCA, B.Tech Semester III and B.Tech Semester V. The visit provided students an opportunity to explore a professional IT environment and understand how classroom concepts translate into real-world technological applications.

The students received a warm welcome from Mr Punya and Ms Vanshika, whose support and coordination contributed to an engaging and informative learning experience. During the visit, industry experts introduced the students to emerging technologies, contemporary software development methodologies and evolving industry practices, offering valuable insights into the functioning of a technology-driven organisation.

The interactive sessions covered several important technological domains, including Full Stack Development, Quality Assurance (QA) Automation, Salesforce Technologies and Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI). These discussions familiarised students with technologies and practices shaping the modern IT landscape and highlighted their applications across different business functions.

The sessions also helped students understand how software solutions are developed and tested, how quality assurance contributes to reliable digital products, and how emerging technologies are transforming business operations. Exposure to these areas enabled participants to connect their academic knowledge with practical industry requirements and gain a broader understanding of the skills expected of aspiring technology professionals.

Discussions on contemporary industry trends and career prospects further encouraged students to explore the diverse opportunities available in the expanding information technology sector. The interaction with industry professionals offered them a valuable perspective on workplace expectations, technological advancements and the importance of continuously upgrading their technical knowledge in a rapidly evolving digital environment.

Dr Rajesh Bagga, Director, AIMETC, emphasised the importance of learning beyond textbooks and classrooms. He highlighted that industrial visits serve as an essential link between academic learning and professional practice, allowing students to gain insights from industry experts, develop practical competencies and prepare for the challenges of an increasingly competitive IT landscape.

The visit was coordinated by Mr Rohit Verma and Ms Atulika Sharma from the School of Engineering and Technology. Their efforts helped facilitate the students’ industry exposure and support the institution’s emphasis on connecting academic learning with professional experiences.

AIMETC expressed its gratitude to Grazitti Interactive and its expert team for their hospitality, insightful discussions and valuable knowledge-sharing sessions. The visit reinforced the importance of industry engagement in technical education, encouraging students to look beyond theoretical concepts and develop a practical understanding of emerging technologies.

Through initiatives of this nature, AIMETC continues to promote experiential learning, technical competence and industry awareness, equipping students with greater insight into the professional opportunities and challenges that await them in the technology sector.
