Holi is the harbinger of everything good and joyous. Afterall, the festival of colours spreads a wave of joy throughout the nation as citizens find themselves splurged with myriad colours.  Something similar happened at Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar.  On this auspicious occasion, Tilak Holi was celebrated at the campus with all teachers celebrating the day by applying tilak on each other. Expressing her views on this occasion, Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal of ACFA,  stated that according to Indian culture, Holi is the last festival of Samvat, in which the message of mutual harmony and goodwill is contained. She said, “The festival of Holi teaches us that we should let go of all the hatred and move forward with a sense of brotherhood with each other.” She further added that all the Indian festivals fill us with enthusiasm and spread the message of social goodness.

It was an important day of social bonding and celebration in the campus. The teachers took pictures of the event on their smartphone to take away a precious memory. Prof Payal Arora exclaimed, “Holi festival celebrates the eternal love of Shri Krishna and Radha ji. At ACFA, we celebrated Tilak Holi with our colleagues and welcomed spring with joy and enthusiasm. May this Holi bring positivity and happiness in everyone’s life.”
