To align teaching practices with the evolving educational landscape, Apeejay School, Noida, organised a comprehensive workshop on the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023. Held in the school auditorium, the event brought together educators from Apeejay sister schools, fostering a collaborative platform to explore and understand the framework’s nuances.

Curriculum framework workshops like these play a vital role in equipping educators with the knowledge and skills required to navigate new academic reforms. With the NCF-SE 2023 placing renewed emphasis on competency-based learning, experiential pedagogy, and holistic development, such engagements help schools ensure seamless and meaningful implementation at the grassroots level.

The session was conducted by Dr Neha Sharma, Principal of Apeejay School, Noida, who led the workshop with exceptional clarity and enthusiasm. Known for her insightful approach and effective communication, Dr. Sharma broke down the key components of the NCF-SE into digestible concepts, making even the most complex ideas accessible and engaging for the participants.

Her dynamic presentation style struck a perfect balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application. By incorporating relatable examples, real-life classroom scenarios, and a touch of humour, Dr. Sharma ensured that the workshop remained interactive, enjoyable, and deeply informative.

Participants lauded the session for its focus on implementation strategies how teachers can adapt the recommendations of NCF-SE to suit diverse learner needs and school contexts. From rethinking lesson planning to redesigning assessments, the workshop encouraged teachers to reflect, question, and innovate.

Moreover, the collaborative atmosphere allowed for meaningful dialogue among educators from various Apeejay schools. The cross-sharing of ideas and experiences further enriched the learning experience, leaving attendees feeling not just better informed but also more connected and inspired.

In essence, the workshop was a testament to the school’s ongoing commitment to educational excellence and teacher empowerment. It marked a step forward in creating learner-centric classrooms that are future-ready, values-driven, and rooted in the Indian ethos.
