‘The principal of this school is proactive’

In an impromptu interview, the mother talked about how the teachers here ensure a well-rounded education and have a positive impact on students including her children. 

What factors influenced your decision to select this school for your daughters?

My husband, who is from Jalandhar always had a dream of sending his children to the Apeejay School, which is situated at the heart of the town. Once we got married, he told me that whenever we have kids he would do everything in his power to make sure that our kids study here. We, of course, did a lot of research and asked for recommendations. We were ultimately convinced that this branch of Apeejay was perfect for us and our kids.

How have your kids’ experiences been at this school, so far?

They derive immense joy from attending school every day and expressing genuine enthusiasm. There is not even a single day when they don’t want to go to school.

Does the school keep you well-informed about any upcoming events?

Yes. the class teacher takes the complete responsibility to inform us about any upcoming events. They update us regularly on WhatsApp groups. If we have a query, they are answered promptly.

Are they involved in any extracurricular activities?

Avni excels in art and craft, showcasing impressive creativity. Additionally, both of them are accomplished dancers. They have recently been conferred with the award for Best Dancers. Their passion for dance and their high level of activity contribute to their overall vibrancy.

What do you appreciate the most about this school?

The teachers are very approachable and are good listeners. The principal of the school is also very helpful as she is seen taking new initiatives for the school. 

How do you help them study at home?

I adhere to a consistent routine that involves dedicating a minimum of two hours each day to my children’s studies. I actively engage in helping them revise the material covered in their lessons. I believe in regular study sessions, not relying solely on weekends or holidays for the same.

Any recent achievements?

Both of my children demonstrate exceptional academic prowess. Recently, in the first semester, Avni achieved an outstanding score of 98%, showcasing her impressive academic performance.
