Sunaina Behl, Director, Cozy Corner Investments Private Limited, says she is really happy with her daughter Bhakti’s progress at Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld Jalandhar. In fact, the mother, who is pregnant with her second child, is already making plans to send him or her to the same school. In an interview, the businesswoman shared how the teachers kept her daughter, a student of LKG, engaged in various activities throughout the pandemic. Excerpts:

Why did you pick Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld for your daughter?

As a former teacher from Delhi, I am well-versed with the kind of teaching practices followed in different schools. So, I had already heard positive things about Apeejay and even interacted with its students. Besides, one of my neighbours also recommended Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld.

How has your experience been so far?

The daughter has completed three years at Apeejay Rhythms, from playschool to LKG. The teachers here are very good. They are always there to help parents, even if you call after school hours. During online classes too, they kept kids engaged with a number of interesting activities. I am very happy with the school.

It is difficult to retain young kids’ attention during online classes. How did the teachers help?

As parents, we were quite worried about kids being confined at home. Coming to online classes, there were some difficulties initially. At school, your child is exposed to a certain environment but at home, he or she might sit in front of the computer, but it is very difficult to set their mood for studying. But my daughter’s teacher kept her engrossed throughout, which was a big relief. At the beginning of her class, she would interact with every student, listen to their problems and even play games.

Last year, Bhakti’s teacher also conducted dance and yoga classes online, which kept the students quite cheerful.

Offline classes have started recently. How well is your child managing?

Bhakti started offline classes in October this year. From club classes for science experiments to written assignments, teachers make sure that the students work diligently. At the same time, they quite wisely maintain a balance between theoretical concepts and activities without overburdening the students. The overall experience has been enriching.

Would you like to recommend Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld to others?

Yes, of course, I already do that! In fact, I am expecting my second child and have already decided to get him or her admitted to Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld.
