A teacher is a compass that activates the magnets of curiosity, knowledge, and wisdom. Keeping this spirit alive, the foundational stage teachers of Apeejay School, Sector-15, Faridabad, along with Primary Wing In-charge Mrs Gunjan Sharma, enthusiastically participated in a two-day CBSE Capacity Building Programme designed to strengthen professional competencies and enhance educational practices.
The programme brought together educators from various schools and served as a valuable platform for learning, reflection, and collaboration. The sessions were thoughtfully designed to equip teachers with contemporary pedagogical approaches and a deeper understanding of emerging educational frameworks.
The first day focused on Values Education, a vital aspect of holistic learning. The sessions were conducted by distinguished resource persons Mr. Pankaj Munjal and Ms. Raj Rani, who highlighted the significance of nurturing ethical values, empathy, responsibility, and character development among students. Through engaging discussions, practical examples, and interactive activities, participants explored innovative ways to integrate values seamlessly into classroom teaching. The sessions encouraged teachers to create learning environments that foster emotional well-being, respect, and responsible citizenship.
On the second day, the focus shifted to the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023. The sessions were led by esteemed educators Ms. Pareenita Tyagi and Ms. Gayatri Sharma, who provided valuable insights into the vision, principles, and implementation strategies of the new framework. The discussions emphasised competency-based learning, experiential education, multidisciplinary approaches, and the holistic development of learners. Teachers gained a comprehensive understanding of how the NCF-SE 2023 aligns with the objectives of the National Education Policy 2020 and supports meaningful, learner-centric education.

The programme offered numerous opportunities for participants to exchange ideas, share best practices, and reflect on their own teaching methodologies. The interactive nature of the sessions encouraged active participation and inspired educators to adopt innovative strategies that cater to the diverse needs of young learners.
Reflecting on the experience, the teachers expressed their appreciation for the enriching and thought-provoking sessions. The programme not only broadened their professional perspectives but also rekindled their commitment to nurturing curious, confident, and compassionate learners.
The two-day CBSE Capacity Building Programme proved to be an enlightening and transformative experience, empowering educators with fresh insights and renewed enthusiasm to contribute meaningfully to the journey of holistic education.
