Tell us about yourself.

I’m passionate about debating, delving into the intricacies of philosophy, and exploring its myriad theses. Writing is not just a hobby, but a fervent pursuit that fuels my creativity. When I’m not engaged in intellectual pursuits, you can find me immersed in serenading the keys of my piano.

What inspired you to write on this topic?

My fascination with philosophy led me to explore future philosophy, particularly envisioning a better world–https://apeejay.news/what-we-must-envision-for-a-better-place/.  This topic is related to one of the TED talks which I gave earlier.

In general, I enjoy sharing my thoughts and ideas, hoping to resonate with others. I spent countless hours contemplating in solitude, refining my understanding, and crafting my message. This journey began with a spontaneous idea, evolving into a structured speech and written piece.

So what’s your process of researching and writing?

In my philosophical writing, I embrace a free-flowing style without a rigid structure. Philosophy lacks a definitive conclusion as it is more about continual exploration and collaboration within the community. My approach is straightforward as I like to focus on clarity and allowing ideas to unfold naturally. There are no such fixed criteria.  I simply follow the flow of thought, encouraging open dialogue and reflection.

So you’re an avid reader.

I find myself more drawn to writing than reading, which may seem unusual. However, documenting my thoughts is my passion which has driven me to explore writing as a means of expression. While I may not be an avid reader, I immerse myself in crafting my ideas and reflections through writing.

Has this school given you the right platform to showcase your thoughts?

Before joining Apeejay School International (ASI), I was quite shy, often avoiding social events and keeping to myself. However, being part of ASI provided me with opportunities to attend prestigious events like MUNs, where I’ve honed my debating skills. Attending events like the Yale MUN, facilitated by my school, has been instrumental in developing my conversational and communication abilities. ASI has given me a strong foundation to grow and thrive in expressing myself and engaging with others.
