The occasion paid a heartfelt tribute to her enduring love for Indian art, music and culture, values that continue to inspire generations across the Apeejay fraternity.

Late Shrimati Rajeshwari Paul, the revered wife of the visionary Dr Stya Paul, Founder-Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, is remembered for her grace, aesthetic sensibility, and deep appreciation for India’s rich cultural heritage. The programme reflected these ideals through a thoughtful blend of prayer, artistic expression and student participation.

The observance began with a serene prayer ceremony that created a reflective and devotional atmosphere. The school Principal, Dr Sonali Balwatcar, along with coordinators and teachers, offered floral tributes in honour of Shrimati Rajeshwari Paul, expressing gratitude for a legacy that continues to enrich the cultural ethos of Apeejay institutions.

A key moment of the programme was the reading of a special message from Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education. The message, presented by Dr Balwatkar, highlighted the ideals and vision cherished by Shrimati Rajeshwari Paul. It encouraged students and educators alike to preserve India’s artistic traditions while carrying forward the values of creativity, sensitivity and cultural rootedness.

The cultural segment brought the spirit of the occasion alive. Students presented a graceful classical dance performance that celebrated the beauty and discipline of Indian performing arts. This was followed by a soulful bhajan rendition, which filled the gathering with a sense of peace and devotion. The performances showcased the students’ talent while reaffirming the school’s commitment to nurturing artistic excellence alongside academic growth.

Another highlight was the inauguration of the art exhibition by the school Principal. The exhibition featured an impressive display of student artworks, reflecting originality, imagination and a meaningful engagement with India’s cultural heritage.
