A calm and spiritually uplifting atmosphere marked the Divine Chanting Activity organised for nursery students at Apeejay School, Tanda Road. The initiative introduced children to sacred chants and simple spiritual practices in an engaging and age-appropriate manner. Through rhythmic recitation and group participation, the activity encouraged students to experience mindfulness, positivity, and discipline from an early age.

The young learners participated enthusiastically as they chanted Om Namah Shivaya, Mool Mantra, Gayatri Mantra, and Radhe Radhe Hare Krishna Hare Rama with innocence and devotion. Their participation reflected confidence and sincerity, creating a peaceful environment across the campus. Teachers guided the students patiently, helping them pronounce each chant with clarity and understanding.

The activity was planned not only as a cultural exercise but also as a way to strengthen important developmental skills among children. Regular chanting and rhythmic repetition are often associated with improved concentration, better listening habits, and clearer pronunciation during the foundational years of learning. The session also encouraged children to sit calmly, listen attentively, and participate together as a group.

School activities of this nature play an important role in helping children connect with values beyond academics. At an age when students are still learning how to express emotions and build social habits, such experiences gently introduce them to patience, respect, and inner calm. The atmosphere during the activity reflected curiosity, joy, and a natural sense of involvement among the students.

The Divine Chanting Activity also highlighted the school’s continued focus on balanced learning experiences that nurture both emotional and intellectual growth. By combining cultural awareness with classroom engagement, the initiative created a meaningful learning space for the youngest students. Such efforts continue to support the development of confident, disciplined, and value-conscious learners from the very beginning of their educational journey.
