‘My daughter is excelling in academics and sports, credit goes to her teachers’

Archana Sinha is a Senior Manager at TTN and her husband, Niraj Kumar Mahato, is a Senior Manager at HCL. They are proud parents of Aanshi enrolled in Class 6 B at Apeejay School, Noida. In an interview, Mrs. Mahato shares how Aanshi is excelling in both academics as well as extra-curricular activities. Read edited excerpts:

What made you think Apeejay School, Noida, would be the right choice for your child?

While searching schools for Aanshi, we found Apeejay as one of the best CBSE schools in Noida which has 30+ years of existence. The main charm of Apeejay is its focus on holistic development of students. They target the overall development of the kids by encouraging them to participate in extra-curricular activities apart from setting academic standards.

Do you personally interact with the faculty on a regular basis?

Yes, we do interact with the teachers on a regular basis for seeking information, providing suggestions and taking feedback about our daughter.

Tell us what you think about the way teachers conduct classes.

Teachers at Apeejay aim at providing quality education in the best possible way. Despite each class strength, they ensure to provide special attention and feedback to every student. The way teachers have managed and streamlined continuity in studies during lockdown was marvellous.

How has your child’s learning progress been?

My daughter is a bright child with good focus and concentration skills. Apeejay indeed has helped a lot in the progress of Aanshi, both academically and socially. With proper guidance and support, Aanshi is excelling in her academics and as a sports girl by participating in many sports like football, kho-kho, athletics, etc. She is also not hesitant in participating in dance, drawing, skits, etc.

How well does the school ensure children’s safety and security?

Since the day I have enrolled Aanshi in Apeejay, I never doubted Apeejay’s security parameters. They strictly do not allow entry of any intruders inside campus. No pick-ups are allowed without undertaking being signed by parents – entry is allowed only with a parent’s card. Such security measures are a great relief for parents.

Are you working, if yes? Then how Apeejay is helping working parents?

Yes, we both are working. Launch of Moodle, the personalised online learning portal, updates on exam dates, reference study material, and much more. It gives a great relief to working parents as we get to know the details even before the child communicates.

Additionally, the WhatsApp group managed by all the teachers is indeed a great initiative in this digital era.
