Share something about your internship learning.
I am pursuing my Internship at DLF Limited as a Communications and Marketing Intern. Over the past month, the experience has been immensely enriching. I have learned the importance of precision in content creation, especially when communicating for a CSR-driven organisation where every word can significantly impact public perception. Attention to detail has become a key learning area for me, ensuring the accuracy and clarity of all content, including newsletters and website material.

Moreover, I have developed skills in simplifying complex information to improve audience understanding, particularly in presentations and reports. I have also gained hands-on experience in visual communication, where I learned how impactful infographics can enhance messaging. Lastly, collaborative feedback sessions have taught me how peer reviews can refine communication for better clarity and delivery.

How has AI redefined management professionally?
From my perspective, AI has significantly streamlined professional workflows by providing initial direction, content ideas, and data insights. However, the notion that AI will entirely replace human roles is not something I foresee materialising soon. Corporate decision-making and output still undergo multiple layers of human intervention, checks, and approvals. While AI delivers raw and foundational input, it requires human intelligence, creativity, and contextual understanding to shape it into a refined, usable outcome. AI is a powerful tool, but the human touch remains irreplaceable in delivering nuanced, impactful results.

What are the recent trends in marketing and operations professionally?
In marketing, key trends include content marketing, the integration of AI and automation tools, and a growing emphasis on brand-led marketing, where organisations focus on promoting their core values and narratives. On the operations front, project management roles are becoming increasingly dynamic, both with and without technical coding knowledge. Additionally, service management has seen a significant rise in relevance, particularly as customer experience continues to be a major differentiator for businesses.

Any advice for management aspirants?
My sincere advice to management aspirants is to build a strong foundation in the core principles of management. These basics are applicable in almost every real-world scenario you will encounter in the corporate environment. Ethical conduct is equally important — organisations are increasingly seeking professionals with integrity. Be observant of how systems and processes operate around you and think about how they can be improved. Applying your knowledge in practical settings and witnessing the outcomes can be extremely fulfilling and confidence-boosting.

How is the college faculty supporting you?
The faculty at Apeejay School of Management has been immensely supportive throughout my academic and professional journey. I receive timely mentorship and constructive feedback on my Summer Internship Project (SIP) and other academic pursuits, helping me refine my work and gain deeper insights. Additionally, the faculty’s guidance in choosing my specialisations has been instrumental in aligning my academic path with my career goals. Their personalised approach and consistent support have played a significant role in shaping my learning experience.

What are your goals and aspirations ahead?
I aspire to establish a strong professional identity—one that aligns with my values and contributes meaningfully to any organisation I join. Self-growth, ethical conduct, and continuous learning are at the core of my aspirations. I aim to uphold trust in my abilities, stay open to feedback, and keep evolving through every experience and interaction I encounter in my professional journey.
