‘My child’s journey is streamlined in this school’

Academic subjects provide students with essential knowledge, skills, and competencies that form the foundation for further learning and career pursuits. “I am glad I found the right match for my child in this school,” says Nitin Kumar whose daughter Hitika studies in Class II at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri.

Excerpts from the interview

Why did you select this school for your child?

Apeejay is by far the best school in this city. Moreover, my brothers’ children are also studying in the same school, and I am quite impressed by the world-class academics offered at this institute. Hence, getting my son in the same school was a default decision.

How is your interaction with the teachers here?

The staff is extremely supportive and cooperative. They are always available for any help regarding my child. They are so patient and professional with the students that helps the children become adjustable and obedient towards them.

Any special teaching techniques used by the teachers here?

They use sound methodology to teach the pronunciations of alphabets and words. This technique is very useful for learning and honing skills of students. My daughter, Hitika has learnt so many words through this way.

How has the school positively influenced Hitika?

She is now in class II and has turned six recently. I have observed that her comprehension abilities have enhanced manifold. She has also developed her reading and writing abilities to a large extent.

Do you agree with the adage – that school is the second home for a child?

I totally agree with this adage. Whenever my child is at the school, I am assured that she is in the safest hands. I believe that she will not face any problems and all her issues will be resolved with much care and attention.

How is the balance between extracurricular activities and academics?

It is nearly perfect. There is a good enough mix of sports and academics which helps in a holistic development of the child. My daughter loves to play various sports and in other activities, she enjoys dancing and creative writing.
