The school’s commemoration of the World Earth Day was more than just a routine observance; it was a concerted effort to instil a deep sense of responsibility towards our planet among its students and staff.

The day kicked off with a poignant special assembly that set the tone for the proceedings. The assembly began with a soulful prayer, symbolising the reverence and gratitude owed to Mother Earth. Following this, students and faculty engaged in various activities designed to educate, inspire, and encourage action.

A thought-provoking poem stirred emotions and encouraged reflection on humanity’s relationship with the environment. An informative talk provided insights into pressing environmental issues and highlighted the urgency of collective action. A captivating Earth song, resonating with themes of unity and conservation, filled the air with a sense of purpose and solidarity.

A highlight of the assembly was the screening of an insightful video that served as a poignant reminder of our individual and collective duties towards the planet. Through compelling visuals and compelling narratives, the video underscored the importance of sustainable living practices and the imperative of preserving our natural resources for future generations.

In addition to these enlightening sessions, the school organised engaging competitions to actively involve students in Earth Day festivities. A slogan writing competition challenged participants to encapsulate the essence of environmental conservation in a few impactful words. Meanwhile, a poster-making competition provided a creative outlet for students to express their views on pressing environmental issues and solutions.

The Principal of the school, Mr AK Sharma delivered a stirring address, underscoring the significance of the mantra: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle in our daily lives.
