Manya’s leadership qualities amaze us: Ranganthan Krishnamachari

Ranganathan Krishnamachari, 56, proud father to two beautiful daughters, Shreya (27) and Manya (17), works with Lintas India Pvt. Ltd as Senior Vice President (finance). His younger daughter Manya is studying in Class 12 at Apeejay School, Noida. Manya is a very promising student, always contributing to various school events. Mr. Ranganathan shares the life lessons that her daughter has acquired at school, in an informal chat.

Tell us more about Manya?

As a parent, if I look at her, she is a go-getter kind of person.  She is very assertive. She has got leadership qualities, which I have observed. She is a firm believer who knows what she wants to do. She makes friends. She studies well. She is not only into academics but loves music and dance as well. She is not into too much of sports, but knows the basics of it.

What are Manya’s plans after class 12?

She will take the NEET exam and pursue medical science. Right now we are exploring all the possibilities whether to go for higher education in Delhi-NCR or whether she would like to study abroad. Discussions are on to decide whether she has to do her graduation from here and then pursue her further studies abroad.

Are you happy with the education she is getting from Apeejay?

Obviously Yes. Apeejay School was my first choice and she got selected there. She is studying there from her pre-nursery. She has been a scholar holder throughout. She has represented her school in many inter-school competitions and won accolades for her school.  

The good things you would like to highlight about the school?

If I look at Apeejay, right from my daughter’s pre-nursery, the school has been imparting education as well as skills, sports and other curricular activities. The major thing that impressed me about Apeejay is that they are not into brand development: rather the work of Apeejay speaks for itself. The teachers here are well-experienced, supportive and give individual attention to kids.

Any personality trait or skill set that she developed at school?

She has become so bold and an extrovert now. She has developed the leadership quality and it is going to help her in the future.

How has her experience of online classes been, during the pandemic?

She is coping up with the online classes. Not only studies but the events too. Without compromising, she delivers all her assignments on time. Apeejay has made sure that the studies are not compromised in the virtual classes. The teachers are putting in extra efforts to deliver their best.

Are you taken well care of as a stakeholder?

Yes. We are really happy with the school and the school’s approach towards the children. In case of our feedback, it is listened to and resolved.
