Little hearts celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with stories and devotion

Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar, celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with a delightful storytelling session and a soulful musical performance, introducing young learners to the festival’s cultural and spiritual significance.

Festivals offer children a wonderful opportunity to learn about India’s rich traditions while creating joyful memories with their peers. Embracing this spirit, Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar, celebrated the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi with an engaging and meaningful celebration that beautifully blended storytelling, devotion and cultural learning.

A special storytelling session was organised for the young learners, featuring Mrs Poonam Chopra, grandmother of Mehar and Diven, who joined the school as the resource person. With her warm and engaging narration, she brought alive a beautiful story about Lord Ganesha, capturing the children’s attention and filling the session with curiosity and excitement.

Through the story, the little ones were introduced to the values and traditions associated with Lord Ganesha. The interactive narration provided an age-appropriate way for the children to learn about the beloved Hindu deity while understanding the importance of listening, kindness, wisdom and devotion. The children listened with enthusiasm and participated with great interest, making the storytelling session both educational and enjoyable.

The celebration became even more vibrant with a lovely solo performance by Saicha Jain of UKG. She presented a melodious rendition of “Ganpati Bappa Morya,” adding a special musical touch to the festivities. Her confident performance reflected the enthusiasm and joy of the young learners and filled the atmosphere with festive energy.

The celebration provided a beautiful platform for the children to connect with Indian traditions in a joyful and experiential manner.
