Jalandhar institute educates students about lucrative online freelancing opportunities

Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar, recently hosted a two-day workshop focusing on Upwork Mastery, which aimed to unlock lucrative online income opportunities.

Kanwal Khehra, Head-Training & Placements, AIMETC, and an independent content strategist consultant, served as the resource person for the workshop. With his expert guidance, the students received immersive and practical training, empowering them with the necessary insights and skills to pursue flourishing careers in the field of online freelancing. His mentorship proved to be a catalyst, inspiring the participants to venture into the world of freelancing with confidence and excellence.

Talking about the experience, the AIMETC faculty member said, “With the ever-increasing popularity of remote work and the gig economy, our effort was to make students aware of such earning and learning opportunities, which they can pursue along with their studies. Throughout the duration of the workshop, participants gained valuable knowledge and honed essential skills in crafting compelling Upwork profiles, establishing robust client relationships, setting competitive rates, and mastering efficient time management techniques.

Mr Khehra shared, “With an emphasis on interactivity, the workshop encouraged active participation from attendees through discussions, Q&A sessions, and practical exercises.
