Class VII of Apeejay School, Noida, shines at Inter-class science role play competition
Apeejay School, Noida, continues to foster experiential learning and creative expression with its Inter-class Science Role Play Competition for Class VII students, held recently. The event stood as a vibrant platform for students to step beyond textbooks and bring scientific concepts to life through performance and imagination.
The competition saw enthusiastic participation from students who had previously cleared the preliminary round, reflecting their commitment and passion for Science. Finalists were selected based on their creativity, clarity of concepts, and presentation skills. They were then divided into three categories according to their chosen themes, encouraging a diversity of scientific perspectives and styles.
Each participant performed a solo act, captivating the audience with their dramatic flair, depth of understanding, and stage confidence. From portraying famous scientists and their discoveries to dramatizing real-life applications of scientific principles, the performances brilliantly showcased a blend of knowledge and theatrical talent. Many students also chose socially relevant scientific topics, promoting awareness about issues like environmental sustainability, artificial intelligence, and health and hygiene.
The judges and teachers were thoroughly impressed by the standard of the presentations. The event became not only a showcase of scientific learning but also a celebration of oratory, creativity, and innovation. Students demonstrated how well they could internalise complex concepts and communicate them in engaging, relatable ways.
More than a competition, the event served as a confidence-building exercise, helping students strengthen their communication and public speaking skills. It also offered an opportunity for peers to learn from one another and appreciate different perspectives within the field of science.
The winners were announced amid cheers and applause: First position: Vanshdeep (Class VII-B), whose commanding stage presence and clear scientific articulation earned him the top honour. Second position: Pishal Arora (Class VII-F), for a thought-provoking performance that left a lasting impression on the audience. Third position: Aaryash Deep Sinha (Class VII-D), who was praised for his creative approach and impactful delivery. Fourth position (Shared): Reet Khanna (Class VII-B) and Parth Singhal (Class VII-A), both of whom were recognised for their engaging and well-prepared performances.
The event concluded with heartfelt appreciation from the judges and teachers, who lauded all participants for their hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm. They emphasised the importance of such co-curricular activities in holistic development and encouraged students to keep exploring and expressing themselves through innovative platforms.
