My work is both dynamic and challenging. A typical day involves assessing patients, making quick decisions in emergencies, performing critical procedures, and coordinating with a dedicated team to develop efficient treatment plans. Whether handling routine consultations or managing life-threatening situations, my focus is always on delivering accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.
Busy day indeed! So, what inspired you to choose medicine as a career?

The ability to make a real difference in people’s lives. Medicine is a perfect blend of science, continuous learning, and immediate impact—especially in emergencies. The idea of helping someone in their most vulnerable moments and witnessing the power of effective treatment drew me to this field. Every day presents a new challenge and an opportunity to save lives.
Do share some of your fondest memories from your student years at Apeejay Saket?
My years at Apeejay School, Saket were truly formative. I remember long study sessions, engaging classroom discussions, and a strong sense of camaraderie with my peers. Biology was my favorite subject, and I vividly recall how our teachers used unique teaching methods that made learning both effective and enjoyable. From an early age, I had an aptitude for the sciences, and my teachers played a crucial role in guiding me toward medicine as a career.
Absolutely! Their mentorship went far beyond academics. They not only provided practical insights but also instilled professional values and encouraged a lifelong commitment to learning—an essential trait for every doctor.
