Celebrating academic excellence, Apeejay School, Noida, students share their inspiring stories of discipline, determination, and strong support systems that enabled them to succeed in Class IX. Meet Anmol Tiwari, who stood first, Ashika Kansal and Aviral Santosh Dixit (second), Aakriti Gupta and Aadya Rastogi (third) from Apeejay School, Noida (academic year 2024-25). In a candid interview, these students shared how the teachers helped them ace their exams.

Aviral said that his strategy was to be regular in school, cover the syllabus being done in class daily, and keep weekends for revision. “My overall percentage was 94.4 per cent. Initially, I found Mathematics difficult, but daily practice and devoting more time to the subject helped me overcome the problem. My teachers have been an incredible support and inspiration for me. They were always there to guide me whenever I reached out with doubts and queries,” now in Class X, shared.

Aakriti, who scored 94.2% in Class IX, said, “A big reason for this good result was the support system around me. At home, my mother guided me on time management, my father helped me improve my presentation in my answers, and my brother shared tips on how to approach questions effectively. At school, my teachers were equally encouraging. They always cleared my doubts,” she said.

Physics was particularly tough for her. “But my teacher explained everything clearly and encouraged me to ask questions. Through these doubts, I gained a deeper understanding, especially of derivations, which helped me not just memorise but truly learn,” she said.

Aadya said that her strategy for studying in Class IX was to learn keywords. “This helped me frame my answers better, and it proved to be much more effective than rote learning, as it prevented the burden of storing too much information in my head. Paying attention in class was also a major factor,” she shared.

The subject she struggled with most was Sanskrit. “Paying attention in class and devoting extra time to this subject helped me overcome the difficulties. I also watched YouTube videos and practised Sanskrit-to-Hindi transitions, which made the language easier to understand. My teachers have always assured me that I can achieve great heights and unlock my potential if I stay focused, and for that I am truly thankful to them,” she said in conclusion.
