Leadership, friendship, and community service came together at the Composite Investiture Ceremony of the Interact Clubs, held recently at Apeejay School, Noida. The event brought together Interactors from Apeejay School, Noida; Pitampura; Apeejay School, Saket; and Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad, Sector 21 D.

The gathering reflected the belief of Rotary founder Paul P. Harris that friendship forms the foundation of Rotary. It also gave students from the four schools an opportunity to come together under a shared commitment to responsible leadership and service.

Young leaders assume responsibility

The ceremony was attended by Rtn Dr Neha Berlia, Chair Rotaract and Interact, Rotary Club of Delhi Premier, and Rtn Anurag Rathi, President, Rotary Club of Delhi Premier. Other Rotarians were also present. The Principals of the participating schools graced the occasion.

During the ceremony, the office bearers of the Interact Clubs for the 2026–2027 session were formally installed. Arnav Pasrija, a Class XI student, assumed responsibility as President of the Interact Club of Apeejay School, Pitampura.

Ayaman Anil Thomas, the President of the Interact Club at Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad, Sector 21 D, has also been selected as the Zonal Interact Representative (ZIR). The other Presidents include: Mehar Khurana from Apeejay School, Noida, and Jasmine Roy from Apeejay School, Saket.

The installation marked an important step for the newly appointed student leaders. It entrusted them with the responsibility of guiding club activities while remaining committed to friendship, service, and the needs of the community.

A message expressed through mime

One of the highlights was Prem Ki Virasat, a mime performance presented by students of Apeejay School, Pitampura. Through their performance, the students conveyed the lasting values of love, compassion, and humanity.

The presentation added a thoughtful dimension to the ceremony. It placed human values alongside leadership and reminded the audience that meaningful service begins with empathy.

The ceremony opened a fresh chapter for the newly inducted office bearers. As they begin their responsibilities, they carry forward a shared resolve to lead with purpose, strengthen friendships, and make a meaningful difference within the community.
