‘Extending help for little paws’

Dogs are sometimes referred to as man’s best friend because they are kept as domestic pets and are usually loyal, enjoying being around humans. Pets are often abandoned by their owners or may be feral animals that have never been owned. However, they need the best care and full rights to live life like humans.

We, brothers Tanish Bakhshi and Arjun Bakhshi, took a small step for the well-being of these animals, both stray and pet dogs. We donated blankets to newborn puppies in their area and provided food and shelter to help them stay warm in this chilly weather.

Our love for these animals is unconditional. We are making tiny steps at our pace ahead to make a little change. Not only dogs are the animals we help; we also go ahead to help cows, buffalo, cats, birds, and whoever comes and seeks protection. Human-animal bonding is an affectionate relationship that is highly essential.

Stray dogs in India have co-existed with humans since the Vedic ages. The localities in which we live belong to them as much as to us. They had been residing in some areas long before humans used to live there.

As responsible members of society, we must protect and care for these creatures. We can do so by simply implementing sterilisation programs, establishing adoption centers, promoting community education, and supporting animal welfare organisations, among many more. Via this, we can positively impact the lives of stray dogs and make this world seem to be a better place.
