It is imperative for every school to come up with new initiatives and different sessions. This is because these may help in equipping teachers with effective teaching strategies and tools leading to meaningful learning experiences for students. Thus, one such session was recently organised by Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg.

Under the dynamic leadership of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, a prominent figure in education and Chairman, Apeejay Education and Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, the school held a seminar focusing on ‘Moodle Lesson Planning’.

The highly enlightening seminar was facilitated by Ms Anita Paul, Education Officer at Apeejay Education and was attended by faculty members from various sister branches including Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg (both Pre-Primary and senior wing), and Apeejay School, Tanda Road.

This session was designed to empower educators with innovative teaching methodologies aligned with technological advancements.

During the seminar, Mrs Paul emphasised on the importance of embracing technology in education and delved into key concepts such as Multiple Intelligence, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and various teaching-learning theories.

One of the highlights was the exploration of a new methodology for crafting daily lesson plans, integrating these foundational concepts. This holistic approach aimed to enhance the effectiveness of lesson planning and instructional delivery.

All in all, the seminar proved to be a truly enriching experience for the attending faculty members, providing them with valuable insights and practical strategies to elevate their teaching practices. The Principal of the school, Ms Sangeeta Nistandra, extended her heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Paul for generously sharing her expertise and empowering the faculty with invaluable tools and knowledge.

This seminar not only fostered professional growth but also catalysed renewed enthusiasm and motivation among the faculty members, setting a positive tone for the upcoming academic session.
