Their desires consumed me,

Envy resided in their souls eternally.

Confessing what no man conceives.

Insecurity gripped me, unfounded,

Treated as a rollerblade,

Abandoned by its owner years ago.

My tears, once priceless,

Now devoid of value

Restless nights, shattered days, their amusement.

Unaware of my dilemma,

Self-absorbed in their insecurities, alien to me.

Their fabricated superiority crumbled,

My smile, the cause.
