Educators embrace AI tools to enhance teaching experience

A recent survey, AI-Driven Education, conducted by Digii reveals that up to 93% of educators from Bengaluru, Delhi, and Hyderabad believe AI integration will significantly enhance teaching. The research, spanning 22 prominent institutions and involving over 500 teachers, highlights the transformative potential of AI in education.

The survey shows that 41% of educators use AI in their teaching practices. Among these, over 70% use AI to create content, 40.1% use it to generate assessments, 28.4% use it to monitor attendance, 24.4% use it to evaluate student performance, and 22.5% use it to generate feedback.

This indicates a growing trend of AI adoption for diverse classroom applications. Additionally, 37% of teachers have experimented with AI tools but are not actively using them, while 21.6% have yet to explore AI tools.

The findings suggest that educators in metropolitan cities are poised to drive AI adoption, transforming teaching and learning dynamics in higher education.
