Dr Neha Berlia wins ‘Education Entrepreneur of the Year 2024’ award

Dr. Neha Berlia, Co-promoter, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Joint Secretary, Apeejay Education, and Pro-chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, was recently bestowed with the ‘Education Entrepreneur of the Year 2024’ award for her continuous efforts to pursue excellence in education.

This certificate of recognition was given by Jagran New Media at the Jagran Josh Education Summit and Awards 2024, held in Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi.

Dr. Berlia, with outstanding leadership capabilities and a penchant for progressive, innovative thinking, continues the rich legacy of Apeejay Education. Founded by the eminent educationist, visionary and philanthropist, Dr. Stya Paul, the institution is now helmed by his daughter and only child, Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Education and Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University.

Dr. Neha Berlia, the daughter of Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, has been playing a key role within the 26 Apeejay educational institutions. She holds the position of Co-chair for the Education Committee at the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) and serves as Co-chair for the ASSOCHAM National Council on Real Estate & Urban Development. Dr. Berlia is also an engaged member of the Rotary of Delhi Premier. Alongside her impressive entrepreneurship and philanthropic endeavours, she has gained national recognition as an accomplished athlete and an award-winning sarod player.

Throughout her career, Dr Berlia has been conferred with several awards for her outstanding achievements. In 2023, she won the ‘Education Visionary of the Year’ award by ASSOCHAM. Dr Berlia, in 2022, was awarded ‘Edu Visionary Leader of the Year’ at The Education Summit. She was also awarded for being the “Next Gen Power Icon’ at Times Power Icons and India’s Greatest Leader Award held in 2018.
