‘Code Club Reunion: Time to connect, reconnect, and rekindle’

Alumni gatherings stand as poignant testimony, providing former students with an invaluable opportunity to reconnect, reminisce, and strengthen the bonds forged during their academic journeys. These events transcend mere occasions, cultivating a sense of nostalgia while facilitating networking to foster a resilient alumni community.

Apeejay School, Noida recently orchestrated a remarkable reunion to revive the lost essence of nostalgia, particularly among the alumni of the cutting-edge CODE Club, who convened after 25 years of its inception. This momentous event unfolded on December 27, 2023, drawing a gathering of nearly 80 alumni, each adorned in formal attire and ushered into the auditorium after completing essential formalities such as form submissions and registrations. For those who were unable to attend in person, an online presence was maintained through Zoom, enabling remote participation.

The event commenced customarily with the ceremonial lighting of the diya. Principal Mrs Ritu Kohli, vice-principals Ms Amrita Hajela and Ms Sonal Srivastava, along with the staff, presented mementos to all alumni. Mr S Chandramouli, the president of the CODE Club, extended a formal welcome to the alumni and other guests.

To enhance the event’s grace and evoke a genuine sense of nostalgia, a video titled A Walk Down Memory Lane was showcased, chronicling the CODE alumni’s moments. The presentation stirred profound emotions among the present alumni.

Following the nostalgic video, an engaging interactive session unfolded, where each alumnus took the stage to introduce themselves, generously sharing academic experiences, life journeys, and inspiring success stories. The present alumni were also guided to visit the newly renovated computer labs, where discussions centered on continuing the tradition of CODE meets in the years to come. A roadmap for the session 2024-25 was formulated during these deliberations.

The event culminated with exceptional success, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees. A formal photograph marked the symbolic conclusion, capturing the essence of the gathering. The meet not only met its objectives but surpassed expectations, serving as a grand tribute to the 25th anniversary of the CODE Club’s establishment.
In essence, the reunion was a resounding success and a fitting commemoration of the quarter-century milestone of the CODE Club.
