CBSE extends deadline for classes 9 and 11 registration data

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline for schools to submit registration data for students appearing in the 2023-24 Board exams. The new deadline for submitting registration data for classes IX and XI students without incurring late fees is November 10, 2023 whereas the previous deadline was October 25, this year.

Schools will also have the option to submit registration data with a late fee between November 11-18, 2023.

It has been emphasised that principals and schools must ensure that only their own regular and bonafide students are sponsored, and no bonafide student’s name is left unregistered. Students should not be from any unauthorised or unaffiliated schools.

All schools are required to input the information on the OASIS portal, providing the full names of the candidate, mother, and father or guardian. The use of abbreviations is discouraged, as it may lead to future complications for the students.
