CBSE class 10 Math paper analysis: A good mix of easy and difficult questions

An Apeejay teacher analyses the Standard Mathematics paper for class 10

The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) class X Math exam was held today from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Two sets of Math exams were conducted today— Basic and Standard Mathematics. Students appeared for the papers as per the subject offered by the school.

The Basic Mathematics paper was easy to attempt. Now, let’s analyse the Standard Mathematics paper:

The paper followed the standard CBSE pattern and covered all the important topics, according to Ashu Gupta, TGT Mathematics, Apeejay School, Noida.

Moreover, the question paper was not lengthy; students were able to complete the paper well before time, the teacher said. “There was no error in the question paper. Students were very happy.”

As per the Apeejay teacher, the paper was “well-balanced with a good mix of easy and difficult questions.” She added, “Few questions were based on critical thinking which required a good knowledge and understanding of concepts.”

This was the final exam for the class X students. With the Math exam, the CBSE class X Board exam, which began on February 27, has ended.
