Budding technophiles immerse in ‘Tech Vibes’ 

Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organises competitions on IT and computers

Recognising the growing need to have in-depth knowledge on new-age technologies,the IT Forum of PG Department of Computer Science at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar recently organised  ‘Tech Vibes 2025’ event. The aim behind organising such  a competition was to further generate curiosity among tech enthusiasts and create awareness on advancing technologies. 

As part of the event, competitions such as Debugging, Web designing and Net savvy were organised. These competitions saw enthusiastic participation of students.

Citing the importance of such competitions, Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal  of ACFA, said, “Computer literacy and knowing about IT is the need of the hour and here at Apeejay our goal is to provide our students the maximum opportunities which certainly come handy in order to polish their skills and widen their knowledge about its technicalities.” 

She further emphasised, “Tech-savvy competitions foster innovation in students by challenging them to develop creative solutions using cutting-edge technology. They enhance problem-solving skills, teamwork, and adaptability, which are essential in the rapidly evolving digital world and also boost their confidence and practical knowledge, thus, preparing them for real-world tech challenges.”

In the Debugging competition, Arshiya Jairath and Ekam bagged the coveted first position, Tanya Anand and Subnoor Kaur bagged second position whereas Asees Kaur and Parmeet Kaur captured third position. In Web designing, Himanshu and Simarjit Singh secured first place, Yuvika and Madhusudan secured second place and Tanmay Garg and Pulkit Nailwal secured third place. Additionally, in the Net Savvy competition, Sania and Ansh secured first place, Ankur and Samaira secured second place and Mehtab and Noor secured third place.

Lastly, Dr. Dhingra along with the faculty of PG Department of Computer Science felicitated the winners with certificates and admired their spirit. She also acknowledged the efforts of Dr. Rupali Sood, Head, Department of Computer Science, Dr. Jagmohan Mago and Ms.Pallavi Mehta for successfully organising Tech Vibes 2025 and providing such apt platforms for students which challenges them to leave their comfort zone behind and be the part of a healthy competition.
