Apeejay professor wins first prize for her research paper at an International Conference

In a remarkable achievement, Dr Vernika Agarwal, an esteemed Associate Professor at Apeejay School of Management in Dwarka, New Delhi, has secured the coveted first position along with winning a cash prize of INR 20,000 for her research paper titled “Navigating Barriers to Technology Empowerment of Academicians.” This impressive feat occurred at the 7th International Conference on Management Education 5.0: Aligning NEP Agenda with Digitization and Global Practices (ANEPDGP-2023), held early this month. 

The conference was organised by the Department of Commerce and IQAC at Zakir Husain Delhi College (Evening), University of Delhi, in collaboration with the GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research and PGDM Institute. The engaging conference drew participants and scholars from various corners of the academic world.

Dr Agarwal’s paper, which clinched the top spot in the “Best Paper” category, explored the challenges and obstacles faced by academicians in their quest for technology empowerment. Her insightful research highlighted critical issues that affect educators’ ability to harness the full potential of technology in the ever-evolving landscape of education.

With over 50 Scopus-indexed research papers to her name, Dr Vernika Agarwal is no stranger to making valuable contributions to the field of academia.
